Boneworms – Ew.

I don’t mean that. They actually look pretty cool, and the role they play is fabulous. But at first glance and reading the first little bit of this article at ScienceDaily, I definitely was grossed out.

It’s interesting research, though. In short form, they’ve found that there are at least 17 unique species of boneworms, that these species don’t interbreed despite in some cases living as neighbors, and the way they copulate is just cool enough to sound like science fiction.
