I’ve talked at great length in the past about some of the research I’ve seen about crows. That Ted Talk, for example, shows some truly fascinating brain function on crows. Other tests have been ongoing and have yielded similar reactions that show that crows really are, as the kids say, all that and a bag of potato chips. I’m kidding, kids don’t say that.
Today, I read a great report on Science Daily about research that is taking place on sequential tool use. This is something we egotistical humans have always felt made us and our primate cousins just a little cooler than all the other animals on the ark. But it turns out we can add crows to the pile too.
Me, I think that’s awesome. Way to go, crows!
